Hello! My name is Bailey Barber. I am a 6th grade Language and Literature teacher here at Phillips Preparatory School. I was born and raised in right here in Mobile, Alabama. I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and English. I am currently in my 4th year of teaching 6th grade Language and Literature.

My passion is to bring reading and writing to young students in a new and exciting way. I am always excited to not only teach young minds, but also learn from them. I strive to do my absolute best each and every day while challenging my students to do the same. Here at Phillips, we are always holding our students to the highest of standards with our motto, "Excellence By Choice," but also creating a fun and positive learning environment.
