High School Previews

Mobile County Public Schools provides all eighth grade students the opportunity to choose their academic path as they enter high school years.  Phillips Preparatory School encourages our eighth grade students to explore all possibilities when it comes to choosing a high school.  Our district houses twelve high schools all with uniquely designed academic academies.  These academies provide students with an individualized, focused, and rigorous curriculum that leads students on specific career paths. 

Each year, MCPSS hosts an annual Signature Academy Showcase where 7th and 8th grade parents are encouraged to attend and discover what each school has to offer.  Students are able to meet with representatives of each school and explore the different opportunities being offered.  If you miss the Signature Academy Showcase, feel free to contact the Academy Specialists at any high school for more information.
